Walt Disney Studios has revealed the teaser trailer for the newest installment to the hit animated film franchise titled The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild. Starring Simon Pegg, the film is scheduled to make its debut on January 28, exclusively on Disney+.

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild teaser, which you can check out below, provides us a glimpse of the return of beloved Ice Age characters. However, this time, the spotlight turns to the free spirit opossum brothers, Crash and Eddie as they make their way back to the Lost World in hopes of learning to live a life of adventure from Simon Pegg’s Buck.

This marks the franchise’s first installment under the Disney brand, following the 20th Century Fox acquisition. The spinoff is directed by John C. Donkin from a screenplay written by Ray DeLaurentis and William Schifin.

Ice Age was produced by Blue Sky Studios, a division of 20th Century Fox. Voicing the prehistoric animals trying to survive extinction throughout the series were Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Josh Peck and Seann William Scott. Five Ice Age movies have been released in theaters between 2002 and 2016 with a combined worldwide gross of $3.2 billion.
