Being the Ricardos is written and directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Aaron Sorkin, which serves as his follow-up project to his acclaimed 2020 film The Trial of the Chicago 7. “Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz are threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear, and cultural taboos in Aaron Sorkin’s behind-the-scenes drama Being the Ricardos,” reads the synopsis. “A revealing glimpse of the couple’s complex romantic and professional relationship, the film takes audiences into the writers’ room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom “I Love Lucy.”

Simmons (Whiplash), Tony Hale (Veep), Alia Shawkat (Search Party), Nina Arianda (Goliath), Clark Gregg (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Jake Lacy (The White Lotus), Nelson Franklin (Veep), John Rubenstein (Family), Linda Lavin (The Good Wife0, Robert Pine (CHiPs) and Christopher Denham (Billions).
