Written by John Ridley and Sarah Smith and directed by Andrew Traucki (The Reef), the film follows a group of friends as they explore a remote cave system deep in the forests of Northern Australia when a tropical storm hits. As rising flood waters trap them deep below the surface, something even deadlier emerges from the darkness — killer crocodiles.
The cast for the follow-up includes Jessica McNamee (The Meg), Luke Mitchell (Agents of SHIELD), Amali Golden (Bloom), Benjamin Hoetjes (The Code) and Anthony J. Sharpe (Robert the Bruce). The horror thriller is produced by Neal Kingston, Michael Robertson and Pam Collis, with Robertson having been a producer on the original film.
