Bond Week: Four New Skyfall Photos!

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of James Bond, British Special Service agent 007, on the silver screen, ComingSoon.net presents “Bond Week” with new information about production on Bond’s 23rd film Skyfall, which has been taking place in London at the legendary Pinewood Studios and where we had a rare opportunity to visit them while shooting.

Our “Bond Week” begins with four new photos from the movie, Daniel Craig’s third outing in the role of Ian Fleming’s spy with four years having passed since we last saw him in Quantum of Solace.

While much of the story is still being kept at the utmost secrecy, we had a chance to walk around a few of the existing sets, which included a casino in Macao, a ghost town on Hashima Island in Japan, and they even recreated a part of the London Underground within Pinewood’s largest space, conveniently dubbed the “007 Stage.” It was in that last location where we watched a little bit of filming of a chase scene between Bond and Skyfall‘s main villain, Raoul Silva, played by Javier Bardem.

We had a chance to speak with Craig, Bardem, Dame Judi Dench (returning as M), new Bond girl Berenice Marlohe, who plays the mysterious Severine, as well as producer Barbara Broccoli and some of the primary department heads. The cast is rounded out by Ralph Fiennes as M’s boss Mallory, Naomie Harris as field agent Eve, as well as Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Albert Finney.

Enjoy the first four photos below and look for nine more tomorrow, and then look for our full report from the set including those interviews starting Monday, April 16.

Skyfall is released in North America on November 9.
