The first image from the set of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter has arrived online, courtesy of The New York Times, who also offer an update from the Louisiana set.
The film stars Benjamin Walker as Lincoln (as seen below), the man destined to become the United States’ 16th President, who must also deal with quelling attacks from bloodthirsty undead.
Described by director Timur Bekmambetov as “a very entertaining, epic history lesson,” Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter also stars Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell and is aiming for a June 22, 2012 release.
