Darren Lynn Bousman has plans to direct the horror thriller 11 11 11, reports Heat Vision.
The plot is said to be inspired by the real-life organization that believes the recurrence of the numbers 11:11 are of spiritual significance and a link to spirit guardians. The script specifically deals with 11 gates of Heaven and how, on November 11th, 2011, the final gate will open for 49 minutes.
“With ‘Saw’ and ‘Repo,’ my career has been about finding new ways to freak people out; that’s what I want to do with this,” Bousman said. ‘We want to take this phenomenon and give it horrific purpose.”
He hopes to be in production in the fall.
