The first picture of Ben Foster in Stephen Frears‘ upcoming Untitled Lance Armstrong Biopic has just premiered and there certainly is a likeness to the disgraced cyclist.
[amz asin=”B00BW4UMCO” size=”small”]The film, which is expected to be released next year, just began filming with a script from John Hodge (Trainspotting) based on David Walsh‘s book “Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit Of Lance Armstrong”. The film will follow the Walsh’s journey to expose Lance Armstrong (Ben Foster) while at the same time following Armstrong’s battle with cancer and subsequent fall from grace after being exposed taking performance enhancing drugs, which helped lead him to win the Tour de France, a (then) record seven consecutive times from 1999-2005.
Co-starring is Chris O’Dowd as Walsh along with Guillaume Canet and Jesse Plemons.
