Cam Gigandet (Twilight) will star opposite Leighton Meester in Screen Gems’ The Roommate.
The psychological thriller centers on a deranged college freshman who becomes obsessed with her new roommate. Gigandet will play the boyfriend of Meester’s character.
Christian E. Christiansen is directing from a Sonny Mallhi screenplay.
Screen Gems is eyeing a May start date.
