Kristin Chenoweth’s Wicked movie cameo possibly spoiled
In a nutshell, Wicked is a prequel to the legendary story of The Wizard of Oz. The spin-off installment follows the story of two witches, Galinda and Elphaba, the latter of whom eventually goes on to become the Wicked Witch of the West. The story was eventually adapted as a musical and made its debut on Broadway in 2003.
Notably, Kristin Chenoweth donned the mantle of Galinda in this rendition of Wicked. Consequently, fans have long been expecting the original cast of the Broadway production to make a cameo in the forthcoming Wicked film. Their wishes seem to have come true after Chenoweth was seemingly sighted by eagle-eyed viewers in a new promo for the movie.

This development has led fans to believe that the 56-year-old actress could be portraying Galinda’s mother in the movie. Additionally, Chenoweth has hinted at making a potential cameo in the Wicked film. While talking to ET, she was questioned about her involvement in the big-screen adaptation of her musical.

The project is expected to come out in the theatres on November 22, 2024.
