“Ladies and gents, this is the moment you’ve waited for.” Marvel Studios has revealed the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack, and it includes iconic songs like Aretha Franklin’s “You’re All I Need to Get By,” Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You,” Green Day’s “Good Riddance,” and more.
Deadpool & Wolverine, directed by Shawn Levy, is scheduled for theatrical release on July 26, 2024. The third installment from the Deadpool film franchise will see the return of Ryan Reynolds as the titular mercenary Deadpool, along with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Both characters were first seen on the silver screen together back in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
What are the songs included in the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack?
Now that the film’s release date is looming closer on the horizon, a slew of songs — as is typical in Deadpool movies — are expected to appear on the film’s soundtrack. That includes “Only You (And You Alone)” by The Platters, “Bye Bye Bye” by *NSYNC, and a song by Jackman himself, titled “The Greatest Show.” The actor performs the song alongside his The Greatest Showman co-stars Zac Efron, Zendaya, Keala Settle, and others.
Other songs included in the soundtrack are “Angel of the Morning” by Merrilee Rush & The Turnabouts, “Slash” by Stray Kids, “Glamorous” by Fergie, “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls, “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the News, “I’m a Ramblin’ Man” by Waylon Jennings, “You Belong To Me” by Patsy Cline featuring The Jordanaires, “The Lady in Red” by Chris de Burgh, “You’re The One That I Want” by Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, “I’ll Be Seeing You” by Jimmy Durante, and “Make Me Lose Control” by Eric Carmen.
