What is Murder Company about?

“The movie is set in the midst of the D-Day invasion and follows a group of U.S. soldiers who are given orders to smuggle a member of the French resistance behind enemy lines in order to assassinate a high-value Nazi target,” Variety’s description of the movie reads.

Murder Company is directed by Shane Dax Taylor, who previously made 2004’s The Grey, 2010’s Bloodworth, 2015’s Isolation, 2021’s Masquerade, 2023’s The Best Man, and 2023’s The Christmas Classic.

The script for Murder Company was written by Jesse Mittelstadt. Andy Cohen and Gabriel Georgiev serve as executive producers, while Richard Switzer and Ian Niles serve as producers.

Along with Grammer, the film stars William Moseley (The Royals, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader) Pooch Hall (The Game, Ray Donovan: The Movie), Gilles Marini (Sex and the City, Brothers & Sisters), and Joe Anderson (The Crazies, Across the Universe).

“We’re very excited to present Murder Company to audiences,” said Switzer, who is the president of Maverick Film. “The film is a non-stop thrill ride with a very authentic feel to it, having shot fully in Europe.”

Niles, the president of Complex Corp, added, “Murder Company is an exhilarating homage to classic WWII films, like Saving Private Ryan, with intense action and heartfelt storytelling. Can’t wait for audiences to see it.”

Murder Company releases on July 5, 2024.
