According to Deadline, Michael Peña (Ant-Man), David Harbour (Stranger Things), Jason Flemyng (Boiling Point) and Arianna Rivas (The Harvest) have officially joined Jason Statham in Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming action thriller Levon’s Trade, which will arrive in theaters on January 17, 2025.
Rivas is expected to portray the role of Jenny, the missing college student, who Statham’s Levon Cade must find. Aside from Rivas, further details about Peña, Flemyng and Harbour’s characters remained under wraps. They will also be joining previously announced cast members Noemi Gonzalez, Emmett Scanlan, Eve Mauro, Maximilian Osinski, Kristina Poli, Andrej Kaminsky and Isla Gie.
What is Levon’s Trade about?
“Levon Cade (Statham) left his “profession” behind him to go straight and work in construction. He wants to live a simple life and be a good father to his daughter (Gie),” reads the synopsis. “But when his boss’s teenage daughter Jenny (Rivas) vanishes, he’s called upon to re-employ the skills that made him a legendary figure in the shadowy world of black ops. His hunt for the missing college student takes him deep into the heart of a sinister criminal conspiracy creating a chain reaction that will threaten his new way of life.”
Levon’s Trade is being directed and produced by David Ayer from a screenplay written by Sylvester Stallone, based on Chuck Dixon’s novel of the same name. It is produced by Statham, Stallone, Chris Long, John Friedberg, Bill Block and Kevin King. Production is currently underway in London.
