ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for the upcoming documentary Who Is Stan Smith?, which chronicles the life of the tennis hall of famer and sneaker icon.
Who Is Stan Smith? is directed by Danny Lee, and executived produced by LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, Alexandra Dell, and Donald Dell. The film, which is being distributed theatrically by Monkey Wrench Films, will tell the story of his rise through the world of tennis, all the way through to him blazing a path as a major force in the world of fashion.
The documentary is currently set to begin its U.S. run with a premiere in Los Angeles on May 3, 2024. A week later, a New York City premiere on May 10, 2024, will take place, at which time the film will begin a theatrical run across 50 markets, including Washington D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, San Diego, Honolulu, Arlington, San Francisco, Newport, Columbus, St. Louis, Scottsdale, Cambridge, Indianapolis, Annapolis, Eugene, Frankfort, Royal Oak, Canton, Hartford, Novi, Plymouth, Hilton Head Island, and many more.
