Larenz Tate, Kat Graham, Jessica Sula, and more have been cast in Lionsgate and Universal Pictures International’s upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, Michael.
Announced in a press release from Lionsgate, Tate will play Motown Records founder Berry Gordy in Michael, which is being directed by Antoine Fuqua, while Graham will play singer Diana Ross.
Sula, meanwhile, has been cast as Michael’s older sister La Toya, while Liv Symone will play Gladys Knight, Kendrick Sampson will play Quincy Jones, KeiLyn Durrel Jones will play Bill Bray, and Kevin Shinick will play Dick Clark.
“I’m thrilled that we were able to bring together such a gifted group of actors for this film,” said producer Graham King. “What they bring to these key roles provides a rich backdrop for the movie, adding to the extraordinary ensemble.”

Jaafar Jackson, the nephew of Michael Jackson, is playing the King of Pop in the forthcoming movie. The cast also includes Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Miles Teller, Laura Harrier, and Juliano Krue Valdi.
