Julia Roberts is reteaming with Leave the World Behind director Sam Esmail for a new movie titled Panic Carefully.

The mysterious movie is in high demand after the success of Leave the World Behind at Netflix. While Netflix is keen to join in on the reunion, The Insneider claims the likes of Paramount and Warner Bros. are also in the running with promises of a theatrical release.
It might be tempting for Roberts and Esmail to take a surefire payday again at Netflix, but the temptation to see how they fare at the box office might well be there.
Leave the World Behind debuted on Netflix last year and quickly became one of the best-performing movies on the platform. The film’s story shows a family of four renting out an Airbnb. However, the home’s owners arrive after a mysterious blackout has begun.
”Amanda and her husband, Clay, rent a luxurious home for the weekend with their kids, Archie and Rose,” reads the synopsis. “Their vacation is soon upended when two strangers — G.H. and his daughter Ruth — arrive in the night, bearing news of a mysterious cyberattack and seeking refuge in the house they claim is theirs. The two families reckon with a looming disaster that grows more terrifying by the minute, forcing everyone to come to terms with their places in a collapsing world.”
Leave the World Behind is written and directed by Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot). It stars Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, Myha’la Herrold, Farrah Mackenzie, Charlie Evans, and Kevin Bacon.
