Panic Fest 2024 Holding Anniversary Celebrations for A Nightmare on Elm Street & The Blair Witch Project

The first wave of Panic Fest 2024 details includes anniversary celebrations for A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Blair Witch Project in the largest program in the festival’s history.

The hybrid genre festival, now in its 12th year, will feature more than 150 features and short films.

A Nightmare on Elm Street’s 40th anniversary will be marked by having original star Heather Langenkamp in attendance, and The Blair Witch Project’s 25th anniversary is to be celebrated with director Eduardo Sanchez and co-star Michael Williams.

But there are new movies to tuck into too. Panic Fest 2024 has the world premieres for Kiah Roache-Turner’s Sting, Justin Denton’s Curse of the Sin Eater, and Ghost Game by Jill Gevargizian.

In-person events to enjoy include Suitable Flesh director Joe Lynch returning with his Mystery Movie screening and Rewind Video and Dive Bar, which evokes the 90s with a hybrid retro basement and bar that features board games, video games, and more.

Panic Fest’s in-person programming runs April 4-10, 2024. The virtual fest goes from April 4-14. 2024. Tickets can be purchased now at the official website.
