Paramount+ has released a new trailer for The Thundermans Return, set to premiere on March 7. The upcoming film will serve as a follow-up to Nickelodeon’s beloved comedy series, with the original cast members returning.
Directed by Trevor Kirschner, the film will mark the highly anticipated comeback of the titular superhero family, The Thundermans. The Jed Spingarn-created series, which is considered one of the most-watched shows on television, ran from October 2013 to May 2018, spanning four seasons.
The forthcoming film will feature the original cast from the Nickelodeon series, including Kira Kosarin as Phoebe, Jack Griffo as Max, Addison Riecke as Nora, Diego Velazquez as Billy, Maya Le Clark as Chloe, Chris Tallman as Hank, and Rosa Blasi as Barb.

What is The Thundermans Return about?
Similar to the series, The Thundermans Return will follow the titular superhero family as they embark on a crime-fighting adventure in the fictional town of Hiddenville.
The official synopsis for The Thundermans Return reads as follows: “The Thundermans Return follows twins Phoebe and Max who are enjoying their superhero lifestyle in a new city, but when one ‘save’ goes awry, the Thundermans are sent back to Hiddenville. While Hank and Barb enjoy their return, Chloe develops a new friend group, and Billy and Nora begin a normal high school life, Max and Phoebe are determined to regain their superhero status. The movie features the return of show favorites, including familiar locations and new menacing supervillains.”
The film is executive produced by series creator Spingarn, alongside Dan Cross, David Hoge, and series stars Kosarin and Griffo.
The Thundermans Return will premiere on both Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.
