Netflix has released the first Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story video and photo, showing off comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s directorial debut. The film is set to release on the streaming platform on Friday, May 3, 2024.
“Michigan, 1963. Kellogg’s and Post, sworn cereal rivals, race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast,” reads the movie‘s synopsis. “A tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen, Unfrosted stars Jerry Seinfeld in his directorial debut.”

Who wrote Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story?
The film was directed, written, and produced by Seinfeld, who also stars in it. Its other writers include Spike Feresten, Andy Robin, and Barry Marder, with Feresten and Beau Bauman also set to produce. Executive producers are Andy Robin, Barry Marder, and Cherylanne Martin.
Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story will also star Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant, Max Greenfield, Christian Slater, Bill Burr, Daniel Levy, James Marsden, Jack McBrayer, Thomas Lennon, Bobby Moynihan, Adrian Martinez, Sarah Cooper, and Fred Armisen.
