It’s been revealed that Justin Lin‘s next movie, Two for the Money, will be led by acclaimed stars Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the duo will lead Lin’s upcoming heist thriller film, which is being written by his Fast X co-writer Dan Mazeau. Though details on the story are currently sparse, Craig and Theron will apparently play two career thieves whose relationship evolves as they perform three big jobs throughout the course of the movie.
The outlet notes that the idea behind Two for the Money was first conceived by Lin and Mazeau on the set of Fast X prior to the filmmaker’s exit. It was pitched to Theron, who was part of the Fast & Furious sequel’s cast and who suggested that Craig should star opposite her in the film.
Apple Original Films landed Two for the Money after a bidding war. It will be produced by Lin through his Perfect Storm Entertainment banner, Theron through her Denver & Delilah banner, and RK Films’ Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum.
