The first trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire debuts the first look at Baby Kong.
Revealed at CCXP 2023 in Brazil and then posted on YouTube by Warner Bros. Pictures, the first trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire previews the next chapter in Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse. Along with King Kong, the trailer introduces a young Baby Kong and gives Godzilla a pink-colored makeover.

What is Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire about?
“The epic battle continues! Directed by Adam Wingard (Godzilla vs. Kong, Blair Witch), Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Kaylee Hottle, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.
With a story by Terry Rossio, Wingard, and Simon Barrett, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’s screenplay comes from Rossio, Barrett, and Jeremy Slater. Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, and Brian Rogers are all producing the movie, while Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, and Kenji Okuhira serve as executive producers.
Legendary Pictures’ MonsterVerse began in 2014 with Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla. It was followed by 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, along with two television series, 2023’s Skull Island and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which is currently airing on AppleTV+.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire releases in United States theaters on April 12, 2024.
