What do we know about Ghostbusters: Afterlife?
Currently under the working title “Firehouse,” the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel marks the fifth theatrically released movie in the Ghostbusters franchise following 1984’s Ghostbusters, 1989’s Ghostbusters II, 2016’s Ghostbusters (which is a reboot with a separate continuity), and 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The film is being directed by Gil Kenan from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jason Reitman. The next chapter in the Spengler family story will also feature the return of the main cast, including Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, and Mckenna Grace, who was the first cast member to confirm her return.
