Photos of Spider-Man 3‘s unused symbiote suit have emerged online, showing off the scrapped rubbery black suit from Sam Raimi’s third Spider-Man movie.
What did the Spider-Man 3 unused symbiote suit look like?
Twitter user @EARTH_96283 revealed four photos of the unused suit being modeled. This version of the black suit has a very smooth and rubbery look to it, with seemingly swappable chest plates of different Spider-Man symbols. One symbol is that of the Sam Raimi movie’s Spider-Man, while the other is closer to the comic version of the symbiote suit’s logo.
The photos show the suit in a variety of positions, from wall-crawling crouched poses to a more aggressive standing posture. Other crew members from the third Spider-Man film can also be seen in some of the images.

Spider-Man 3 originally released in theaters on May 4, 2007. The Marvel sequel saw Tobey Maguire‘s Peter Parker face-off against Venom, the Sandman, and the New Goblin. Though the film was met with a fairly lukewarm reception, Maguire would go on to reprise the role of that universe’s Peter Parker in 2021’s Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel Spider-Man: No Way Home alongside The Amazing Spider-Man’s Andrew Garfield.
