10 Moments We Want to See in Captain America: Civil War – The Death of Captain America

THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN AMERICA

The ending of Civil War lacked the emotional punch that it needed. It wasn’t until Captain America # 25 that the story finally got the conclusion that it deserved… when Steve Rogers was shot and killed by an assassin.

Up until that moment, the general public had turned on Cap and he was being taunted while he was being escorted to court. Because he’s a hero in the truest sense of the word, Cap took a sniper’s bullet that was meant for one of his police escorts before he was fatally shot. And the aftermath of his death created shockwaves within the Marvel Universe that led to a new Captain America.

This is the perfect ending for Captain America: Civil War. What could fracture The Avengers more than the death of Captain America? But don’t worry, Marvel movie fans. Captain America didn’t stay dead in the comics. Why would that change in the movies? Especially when Chris Evans would still have to appear in at least one more film to finish his six movie commitment. My guess is that if Cap dies in this movie then he would somehow be brought back for Avengers: Infinity War.
