Fans of the late Robin Williams have several more films from the comic genius to look forward to, and audiences who loved seeing him in darker comic roles can enjoy the misanthropic merry making of holiday film A Merry Friggin’ Christmas, which Entertainment Tonight has a zany new trailer for. Check it out below!
A Merry Friggin’ Christmas follows Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) as they spend a dreaded Chrismas with Boyd’s father Mitch (Robin Williams) and his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son’s gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.
The feature debut of British TV director Tristram Shapeero, who worked with McHale previously on “Community,” A Merry Friggin’ Christmas co-stars Clarke Duke, Oliver Platt, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Tim Heidecker and Candice Bergen and hits theaters on November 7.
Despite his tragic death in August, Williams still has several feature films slated for release, including his last filmed appearance in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and his final vocal performance alongside Monty Python in Terry Jones’ Absolutely Anything.
