A new UK trailer for director Lynn Shelton’s Laggies has just debuted (via Digital Spy) under its international title Say When? and you can check it out below!
The latest comedy from indie darling Shelton (Humpday, Touchy Feely) follows a 28-year-old woman named Megan (Keira Knightley) who faces a quarter-life crisis realizing she still works for her father and is still dating her high school boyfriend (Mark Webber), who has just proposed to her. Looking to lay low, she befriends a 16-year-old named Annika (Chloe Grace Moretz) and starts hanging out at the girl’s house, eventually making romantic sparks with Annika’s attractive single father Craig (Sam Rockwell).
Laggies premiered in January at Sundance where it received mixed reviews. Also featured in the cast are Ellie Kemper, Jeff Garlin, Gretchen Mol and Kaitlyn Dever. The film opens in limited release in the US on October 24.
