According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stranger Things star Maya Hawke has officially been cast to star opposite her mother, Oscar nominee Uma Thurman, in the forthcoming dark comedy thriller The Kill Room. Debi Mazar (Goodfellas) and Larry Pine (Moonrise Kingdom) have also joined the cast.
They will be joining previously confirmed cast members Samuel L. Jackson and Joe Manganiello. This serves as Thurman and Jackson’s latest collaboration after starring together in Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic, Pulp Fiction.

“It centers around a hitman, Reggie (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman), and their money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight avant-garde sensation, forcing her to play the art world against the underworld,” reads the synopsis.
The Kill Room will be directed by Nicol Paone from a screenplay written by Jonathan Jacobson. The film is a production by Yale Entertainment.
