DC Comics has delayed the release of an upcoming tie-in prequel comic book based around the upcoming The Flash film, according to one of its artists.

The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive was supposed to see its first issue released on April 26, 2022. However, a report from Bleeding Cool seemed to suggest that DC Comics had begun canceling orders for the book, hinting that it would no longer be releasing due to Ezra Miller’s recent arrest and legal troubles.
Following the news, Juan Ferreyra — one of the artists that worked on the comic series — took to Twitter to deny the reports, saying that the series will still be printed, but was simply delayed to not leave such a large gap between the comic and the movie, which was recently delayed itself until 2023.
Nope, it will be printed later this year, so there won't be such a gap between the comic and the movie.

The prelude series will be written by Kenny Porter, with artists Ricardo López Ortiz and Jason Howard also contributing to the series. A three-issue collection of the series was set to release in October, but it’s unclear when that will come out now due to the first issue being delayed to an undetermined date.
The Flash: Fastest Man Alive will focus on Barry Allen as he deals with the emergence of Girder, a new threat to Central City. In the series, Allen will turn to Batman for advice on how he can harness some of his powers, and also try and figure out how to stop the latest threat to his city.
The long-in-development The Flash movie sees the return of Ezra Miller as the DCEU’s Scarlet Speedster/Barry Allen, who he first portrayed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. He also played the hero in a cameo appearance on The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, where he got to meet Grant Gustin’s version of Barry Allen.
Joining Miller are Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, along with Keaton and Ben Affleck who are reprising their respective versions of Bruce Wayne/Batman for the film.
