An official sequel to A Quiet Place Part II is in the works, as Paramount Pictures has confirmed that A Quiet Place Part III is set for a tentative 2025 release.

The news came during a recent investor call from Paramount, although no official details have been revealed beyond its planned 2025 release window. Both the original film and its sequel were written (in part) and directed by John Krasinski. While it’s unknown if he plans to return in any capacity for the third film, with Paramount billing it as a direct sequel to 2021’s A Quiet Place Part II, it’s at least somewhat likely that stars Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe may return.

While this is technically the third entry in the series, it is the fourth A Quiet Place film that Paramount has announced. Last year, a spin-off film based on the original two entries was announced with Michael Sarnoski (Pig) attached to direct the spin-off that is reportedly based on an original idea from Krasinski.
