It has been over a decade since the theatrical release of the last Final Destination installment, where it led the franchise to earn a combined worldwide gross of over $660 million. The sixth installment has been in development since 2019, where the project was described as a reimagining of the horror-thriller franchise.
Final Destination 6 isn’t the only horror reboot that will be coming to HBO Max as New Line Cinema is currently in post-production for the upcoming latest installment of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead titled Evil Dead Rise.
