A brand-new trailer for the upcoming live-action films based on the stage plays of A3! Autumn & Winter has been released, alongside a release date for the film.

Thanks to the trailer (via Anime News Network) — which highlights some of the upcoming characters and interactions we’ll see in the film — we now know that the film will launch on March 4, 2022, in Japan. The film will be based on the stage play series that the Mankai Stage has been putting on since 2019.

Mankai Movie A3! ~Autumn & Winter ~ will be directed by Kenji Kurata, who is also directing the live-action Spring & Summer film that is set to release in December. Kurata wrote the script for the first film as well and will be co-writing the script for Autumn & Winter with Hideyuki Kobashi.

A3!, which stands for Act! Addict! Actors!, is an idol anime based on a mobile game of the same name. The English cast includes Eric Rolon (My Hero Academia) as Masumi Usui, Nazeeh Tarsha (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) as Misumi Ikaruga, Brandon McInnis (Dr. STONE) as Yuki Rurikawa, Monica Rial (Dragon Ball Super) as Izumi.
