According to Deadline, Lucasfilm has temporarily removed Patty Jenkins’ forthcoming Star Wars film Rogue Squadron from its 2022 production schedule. The delay was due to the scheduling conflicts with the acclaimed filmmaker’s other high-profile projects such as Warner Bros. Pictures’ Wonder Woman 3, and Paramount Pictures’ Cleopatra, which will both be led by Gal Gadot.
The film was initially set to start its pre-production later this year, with the intention to begin shooting next year. Despite the delay, the outlet’s sources noted that Jenkins is still committed to directing Rogue Squadron, and will remain attached to the project.
