The film, which will be directed by the duo of Celine Held and Logan George, is produced by M. Night Shyamalan. Plot details on the film aren’t available just yet, but it is being reported that the film will be somewhat of an ensemble drama piece. The film also marks the first time that Blinding Edge Pictures, Shyamalan’s production banner, is producing since Sekhar Kapur’s 2002 film The Four Feathers that won’t have Shyamalan attached as director.
O’Brien quickly rocketed into stardom following his roles in the Maze Runner films, but took a bit of a break from acting after the final film in the franchise, Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Since then, O’Brien has starred in Love and Monsters, Flashback, and Infinite, but is now said to be filming multiple projects, and has just wrapped production on The Outfit.

Eliza Scanlen is no stranger to working with Shyamalan, having just starred in his latest film Old, where she played the older version of Kara. Scanlen has also had a pretty storied career for such a young actress, having starred in the HBO series Sharp Objects, Babyteeth, Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, and The Devil All the Time. Currently, she’s filming The First Lady, a film where she’ll portray Eleanor Roosevelt in a film focused on America’s First Ladies.
