More details on Disenchanted began to emerge last month. While we knew that Adams’ Giselle and Dempsey would return, we now have it confirmed that James Marsden and Idina Menzel will reprise their roles from the original. The character of Morgan will also return, although Gabby Baldacchino will play her since Rachel Covey is no longer young enough for the role. The main villain in the sequel is named Malvina Monroe. Actresses Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Jayma Mays are also set to join the cast as villains.
The plot reportedly revolves around Giselle and her family rushing to save the Kingdom of Andalsia from Monroe after their fairytale life in the suburbs goes awry. Snow White’s seven dwarfs are also said to appear and have some impact on the story.
