Gwendoline Christie, who plays warrior Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” is replacing Lily Rabe in the role of Commander Lyme in Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
According to Variety, Rabe had to drop out due to a scheduling conflict with “Much Ado about Nothing” at Shakespeare in the Park.
Commander Lyme character is one of the leaders of District 13 and hails from District 2 as a past victor of a Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is scheduled to hit theaters on November 21 and will be followed by “Part 2” on November 20, 2015.
