Only days after WandaVision finished their reshoots, it looks like MCU star Elizabeth Olsen will soon again be called back to set as Scarlet Witch with the nearing production start of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Speaking with Conde Nest Traveller, Olsen has confirmed that she is scheduled to film her scenes for the highly-anticipated sequel in December in London.
“I feel as if British people work to live – they don’t live to work, unlike in LA and New York,” Olsen said. “I am moving back soon to film the sequel to Doctor Strange, so I’ll be there for Christmas, just outside London. Even given the current circumstances, it will be a nice trip.”
Her confirmation comes after it has been reported that some of the cast and crew have already arrived in London and have reportedly already started prepping for the filming of the Sam Raimi-directed superhero film. Lead star Benedict Cumberbatch previously teased that production start was due in later October or early this month. However, it seems like Marvel Studios might have pushed it back towards the end of November.

According to Kevin Feige, the upcoming Disney+ shows WandaVision and Loki will both directly impact the events the Doctor Strange sequel.
Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch appeared in Avengers: Endgame, where they were both last seen attending Tony Stark’s funeral. Loki also appeared in Endgame and was last seen after the events of the Avengers’ first battle in New York, where he escapes with the Tesseract cube.
Originally set to be directed by Scott Derrickson, the sequel will now be helm by Spider-Man‘s Sam Raimi with Loki head writer Michael Waldron set to rewrite the script that was first written by The Turning scribe Jade Bartlett. Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Benedict Wong will be reprising their roles, with Rachel McAdams not expected to return to her role of Dr. Christine Palmer.
