Paramount Pictures and MGM have set a December 25, 2014 release date for Hot Tub Time Machine 2, directed by Steve Pink and starring Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Adam Scott, Chevy Chase and Gillian Jacobs.
The other two films scheduled for that date are Disney’s Into the Woods and Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken.
The film is the sequel to the 2010 comedy, which earned $64.6 million worldwide.
Although John Cusack is not returning, the sequel will still have a direct connection to his original character. Adam Scott is playing Cusack’s son from 10 years in the future.
