First announced last year, Millennium Films’ all-female version of their hit The Expendables franchise, currently dubbed The ExpendaBelles, has met with Grindhouse star Zoe Bell. CraveOnline has the news, having sat down to speak with the stuntwoman-turned-leading lady about her latest project, Raze.
“I’ve been in and I’ve met,” Bell says. “Yes, I’ve had meetings with people, but they haven’t got a director attached yet so that’s the next thing. I would obviously love to be involved in it.”
The ExpendaBelles will feature a screenplay from Legally Blonde scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith. A rival, still untitled all-female action ensemble is also being developed by 1984 Private Defense Contractors. It is set to star Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff.
