Scott Derrickson’s upcoming supernatural thriller formerly called Beware the Night will be released on July 2, 2014 as Deliver Us From Evil, according to Derrickson on his Twitter feed.
ComingSoon.net’s horror site ShockTillYouDrop.com has a few quotes from actor Eric Bana talking about working with Derrickson on the film, which shot in the Bronx this past summer, which you can read by clicking here.
Here’s a sample of what Bana told them:
“I was again playing a real person, Ralph Saatchi, who was a particularly tough detective from the 46th Precinct in the Bronx, and we shot all through summer doing night shoots in the Bronx. It was an incredible experience. I’m playing a cop for the first time in my life and absolutely loved it and learned and saw things that really were quite challenging.”
