Universal Pictures’ Midnight Delivery has brought aboard British television director Otto Bathurst. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that he’ll helm the upcoming action thriller with Kevin Costner already attached to star and Guillermo del Toro producing alongside Lava Bear Productions’ David Linde.
Scripted by Neil Cross (Mama) and based on an original idea by Del Toro, Midnight Delivery will find Costner as a father who is forced to become a drug mule to protect his son.
Russell Ackerman and Gary Ungar are attached to executive produce Midnight Delivery.
