Bryce Dallas Howard is in talks to play a leading role in director Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, The Wrap is reporting.
Steven Spielberg returns to produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series with Trevorrow both directing and co-writing alongside Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are attached to produce alongside Spielberg.
Bryce Dallas Howard is well-known for playing Gwen Stacy in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, for appearing in both M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village and The Lady in the Water, and for her role as Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. She recently starred in Tate Taylor’s The Help and in Jonathan Levine’s 50/50. There’s no word on her Jurassic World character yet, but check back for details as soon as they become available.
Jurassic World will be shot in 3D and is planned to hit theaters on Friday, June 12, 2015.
