While the Academy-Award winning team of Jim Rash and Nat Faxon are making their directorial debut with the release of July 5th’s The Way, Way Back, the former talent is also well-known for his ongoing role as Dean Pelton on NBC’s “Community.” In a crossover of sorts, Fox Searchlight today released a comedic video that has the series’ cast auditioning for a role in the new dramatic comedy. Having a rough time fitting in, the introverted Duncan finds an unexpected friend in gregarious Owen (Rockwell), manager of the Water Wizz water park. Through his funny, clandestine friendship with Owen, Duncan slowly opens up to and begins to finally find his place in the world – all during a summer he will never forget.
