As speculated when the project was first announced, Drew Barrymore is set to appear opposite Adam Sandler in a still-untitled romantic comedy from director Frank Coraci, Variety reports.
Plot details are few, but the comedy will deal with blended families and will be produced by Happy Madison and Gulfstream Pictures.
Coraci previously directed Sandler and Barrymore in The Wedding Singer. Both leads later re-teamed for 50 First Dates, directed by Peter Segal.
Barrymore was on the big screen in last year’s Big Miracle. She recently became attached to direct the upcoming sci-fi drama The End for Warner Bros. Pictures.
