Although all three actors were expected to do so when the project was first announced in January of last year, The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis will be back for Horrible Bosses 2. What’s more, Jamie Foxx, while still not signed, is expected to reprise his role as hitman Motherf–er Jones.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote the 2011 comedy Horrible Bosses, are drafting the sequel. The original film starred Bateman, Sudeikis and Day as a group of friends that decide to kill off each other’s bosses (played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrel and Kevin Spacey).
Seth Gordon will also be back as director with a summer production start being eyed.
