Recently it was rumored that Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin may make the jump from Netflix to the Marvel Cinematic Universe — albeit on the small screen via the Disney+ series Hawkeye — which begs all kinds of questions. I mean, if Kingpin shows up to smash some heads with his car door, does that mean other Netflix Marvel heroes will eventually appear alongside the likes of Thor and Spider-Man in Marvel’s upcoming Phase 4 films?
Well, if the answer is yes, then here are the five Netflix Marvel characters we really want to see, in case the studio is taking requests.
Daredevil
Let’s start with the obvious, shall we? The Daredevil TV trilogy was a mixed bag that never fully lived up to its potential. Oh sure, it had plenty of high points — namely that wild final (?) season — and Charlie Cox was quite brilliant in the role, but there was plenty of, ah, meat left on the bone if you catch my drift. Now, plenty of rumors abound that Cox will appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home in some way shape or form, which generates all kinds of chills … Can you imagine Daredevil — this Daredevil — battling alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man? Out of everyone from Marvel’s ragtag team of street heroes, Matt Murdock absolutely deserves continuation on the big screen.

Claire Temple
Look, Claire Temple may not be the most exciting character to make the jump to the MCU, but for the sake of continuity it seems almost criminal to leave her off the list. The character more or less served as the through line for Netflix’s slate of shows, first appearing in Daredevil and later sharing an intimate relationship with Luke Cage. As portrayed by Rosario Dawson, it would actually be pretty cool to see Claire pop in to offer some words of advice or help heal a wounded hero. In a series packed to the brim with superheroes, having a more grounded character like Claire offers a little more nuance to go with all the high-flying shenanigans we’ve grown accustomed to seeing.
Jessica Jones
Jessica Jones Seasons 2 and 3 didn’t quite live up to the hype generated by Season 1, but the character remained fascinating throughout. There’s plenty of comic book material left to explore that could certainly tie in with some of the larger MCU stories, but really the wish here revolves around the tough-as-nails Jessica getting a chance to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Scarlett Witch, Ant-Man or Thor. Seeing as she isn’t quite on the same power level as some of the MCU’s god-like warriors would also create plenty of opportunities to further explore her person and how she fits into the larger Marvel narrative.
Really, though, a majority of the characters on this list simply deserve a second chance on a much grander platform. Considering Krysten Ritter was one of the best things about the Netflix shows, why not give the actress another chance to shine with the big boys and girls of the MCU?

Luke Cage
Another character that deserved, well, a lot more, was Luke Cage, the near-invincible hero of Harlem last seen taking over the club Harlem’s Paradise following the death of its previous owner, Mariah Dillard. After two descent, but certainly not remarkable, seasons, we still have yet to see Cage achieve his full potential. Not only would his skill set be better utilized in the MCU where he could fight alongside other powerful heroes against similarly powered foes, but his near-unbreakable moral code would make him an interesting counter to the MCU’s, ah, more avid rule benders.
Imagine a series featuring Luke, Sam, and Bucky. Talk about a dream team.
Punisher
Obviously, we have to include Punisher. Despite the mixed response to Jon Bernthal’s portrayal of the classic anti-hero, I actually liked where the show was taking the character before its abrupt cancellation. Perhaps a quasi-reboot in the MCU would give Bernthal a chance to better develop Frank Castle into the violent man we all know and love, or maybe he just needs stronger material to work with. At any rate, the MCU really isn’t complete without the gun-toting psycho blasting villains to shreds. His presence (and questionable ethical beliefs) would result in some unique character interplay, especially when paired alongside a do-gooder like Sam Wilson/Captain America or a wildcard like Nebula.
