Victor Frankenstein may have successfully put the pieces together to re-animate a creation consisting of 12 used body parts from eight different corpses, but theres one thing Frankenstein couldnt give his monster a soul. Aaron Eckhart leads Stuart Beattie’s I, Frankenstein as Frankensteins monster, here called Adam.
After being abandoned by his creator, Adam keeps to himself until he winds up in the middle of a war between demons and gargoyles. Now, while trying to figure out where he belongs in the world, Adam also must fight to keep the formula behind his anatomy out of the wrong hands.
With I, Frankenstein heading towards its January 24th wide release, we got the chance to sit down with both Eckhart and his co-star, Yvonne Strahovski who steps in as Terra, an electrophysiologist who’s tasked with making the leap from re-animating a rat to a human corpse.
Check out what the duo told us about their characters’ backstories, Adam’s diet, Terra’s classification as a modern day Victor Frankenstein and loads more in the video interview below.
