CS Video: Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie on The Wolf of Wall Street

Having just won Leonardo DiCaprio a Golden Globe for his title role, Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street is next eyeing attention from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. With the Academy set to announce their full nominations this Thursday, January 16, the Paramount Pictures release boasts a number of notable performances, including what could become supporting nods for stars Jonah Hill and Margot Robbie. ComingSoon.net recently caught up with both talents in Los Angeles to talk about their involvement with the terrifyingly true story of Jordan Belfort.

Hill, who was previously nominated for his work in Moneyball, plays Donnie Azoff, a salesman who partners with DiCaprio’s Belfort early on. In the below interview, Hill discusses working with Scorsese (a talent he says is unparalleled in cinema) and details getting into character as Azoff, something that had him calling Best Buy customer service for hours on end to practice doing the voice.

Robbie, who fans will recognize from this year’s About Time, stars as Belfort’s wife, Naomi. She talks about doing a New York accent, Scorsese’s eternal energy on set and she goes into detail about one line in particular she wishes hadn’t been cut from the final film.
