Walt Disney Pictures returns to the world of Mary Poppins this Friday when director John Lee Hancock’s Saving Mr. Banks opens in limited theaters before expanding wide on December 20. The film is inspired by the extraordinary, untold backstory of how Disney’s classic Mary Poppins made it to the screen.
