BTS has finally revealed the release date of the collaboration merch between the K-pop act and Despicable Me 4. The pre-order for the latest collaboration merch has arrived on Weverse.
Previously, Illumination and Universal Pictures released teasers of the new film Despicable Me 4. BTS fans were happy to learn about the movie’s sweet inclusion of the K-pop band. One of the significant characters of the new animated film, Poppy Prescott, is a certified BTS ARMY.
In one of the teasers, she is seen practicing a dance with BTS’ “Butter” poster in the background. Her phone also has the BTS logo on the back and is purple, the band’s official color.
When will BTS X Despicable Me 4 limited edition merch be released?
Pre-orders for BTS x Despicable Me 4 limited edition merchandise will begin on June 19. Fans can pre-order the merchandise from Weverse Shop USA and Global before the shipping date. From June 21 onwards, fans can also visit pop-up shops and purchase the merchandise.
BTS x DM4 merchandise offers member-specific T-shirts, caps, peach hoodies, and tote bags. The first images of the merchandise reveal the K-pop members in minion forms. In addition to member-related merch, fans can grab minion selfie T-shirts and peach sign hats.
Where & how to buy BTS X Despicable Me 4 merch?
BTS x DM4 (Despicable Me 4) merchandise will be available for pre-order on Weverse Shop USA and Weverse Shop Global. All pre-ordered merchandise will be shipped from July 26 onwards. Fans can place their pre-orders from June 19 to July 1.
As per BigHit Music, the latest collaboration is a “celebration of the new Despicable Me 4 character, Poppy Prescott, who identifies as a member of BTS ARMY. This connection is highlighted in the limited merchandise capsule featuring vibrant Minions x BTS mash-up art inspired by BTS iconic outfits from their 2021 hit single ‘Permission to Dance.'”
Along with pre-ordering the merch from Weverse Shop, fans can visit LA, Tokyo, and Seoul to purchase the limited edition merch. The LA pop shop will operate from June 21 to July 3. BigHit Music will update fans on the dates for other locations later.
