EXO star Baekhyun has started a new solo era under his label, INB100. After months of anticipation about his upcoming activities, Baekhyun confirmed his attendance as the opening singer at the MLB World Tour Seoul series.
Baekhyun is regarded as one of the best K-pop vocalists, and his live vocals never fail to impress fans. Previously, the 31-year-old singer performed at the League of Legends World Championship opening ceremony in November 2023 and stunned fans.
EXO Baekhyun to perform national anthem at 2024 MLB World Tour Seoul Series
Baekhyun is making fans proud as he will perform South Korea’s national anthem at the MLB (Major League Baseball) World Tour Seoul Series 2024. According to his music label, Baekhyun will sing the Korean national anthem and the United States national anthem at Gocheok Sky Dome on March 21, 2024. The singer will perform on the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres game day.
Previously, Baekhyun also represented South Korea in the 2018 Olympic Games. He sang Korea’s national anthem at the opening of the IOC session at Pyeong Chang.
A decade ago, a young Baekhyun flaunted the power of his vocals at Suwon World Cup Stadium. Baekhyun performed at the 2013 Korea vs. Peru International Friendly soccer match.
In Addition to representing Korea at international events, Baekhyun has impressed fans with his live stage performance at several EXO concerts. The “Bambi” crooner will meet fans next in his solo tour, Lonsdaleite, on March 16 and 17 in Seoul.
Later, he will travel to over 13 Asian cities for his solo tour, including Tokyo, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Chiba, Fukuoka, Taipei, Kobe, Sendai, Jakarta, Hong Kong and more.
Baekhyun released his last EP, Bambi, on March 30, 2021, before joining the military. The solo artist sold over 1,006,835 album copies in the first week. Bambi peaked at number 1 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart.
