Blackpink member Jennie will star in a new variety show, Apartment 404. Along with Jennie, another K-pop superstar will make a special appearance on the show, making fans excited.
Jennie will join a star-studded cast, including Running Man stars Yoo Jae-Suk and Yang Se-Chan, K-drama actors Cha Tae-Hyun and Lee Jung-ha, and Alchemy of Souls actress Oh Na Ra.
Apartment 404 also stars TXT’s Yeonjun
Apartment 404 will be released on Amazon Prime Video on February 23. The new Korean variety show on TVN will have eight episodes in total. The final episode of Apartment 404 will be dropping on Prime Videos on April 12, 2024. TXT’s Yeonjun will be a guest star in the show.
As per Prime Video, Apartment 404 will unveil the journey of six residents who stay in the same apartment building and uncover the truth behind recurring events.
“The show is set in an apartment building where the six residents trace the truth behind extraordinary events that occur in their residences. With events based on true stories, each episode will have a unique setting and take place in a different period. The six cast members will split up into two teams, along with special guests, and compete against one another,” the official press release from Prime Video noted.
Fans loved the sneak peek of Yeonjun’s appearance alongside the main cast in the show. The official trailer of Prime Videos showed Jennie getting frustrated and Yeonjun loving the candid expressions of the Blackpink star.
Jennie’s new solo feature in Apartment 404 came months after establishing her company, Odd Atelier. The Blackpink star did not renew her contract with YG Entertainment. So, she will promote all her solo projects on Odd Atelier’s Instagram page.
Jennie is no stranger to Korean variety shows. The 28-year-old “Solo” crooner previously appeared in The Game Caterers Season 2, Village Survival, the Eight Season 1, Running Man, and several other Blackpink shows.
